Fibre, plastic, wire, textiles, discarded objects, robotics and natural materials are transformed through imagination, skill and extraordinary attention to detail.

Every work begins with an idea. Every artist has a story. And when the artists stand alongside their creations, you get to meet the people behind the imagination – to ask questions, discover how something was made and understand the journey that brought it to life.
Now in its seventh year, AWAF has grown into a place where artists can take risks, audiences can discover something new, and creativity can be experienced in a way that stays with you.

The Preview Performance is a feature for the Australian Wearable Art Festival, our first opportunity to see the show and at a reduced price. These tickets grant access to the very first performance of the season—our full-dress rehearsal, where everything comes together for the first time after final preparations.
